Great race! I am sorry to hear that your Achilles tendons are sore. Have you tried to ice them? That might help with the soreness.

April, yes, some of the hills were very hard, long & with the stroller very heavy. And yes, the race was like a hard workout...and guess what, last k, my avg was 6:40 min/mile! The best part was that I felt good, that I could sustain the pace longer.

Barry, thanks, my achilles tendon have been giving problems for quite a long while. I'm actually better now than last year.

Sounds like a fun race, it's nice to have an excuse not to push too hard every once in a while!
