Long term...mmm...hard one, just continue running and having the luck a running races to keep on the edge, every so often.

It's always bad news when you want to run, but are told you can't! It's good news that you're going to a specialist for the kidney tests because those kidneys are darned important. Hope you get a good prognosis and treatment that helps.
