Picking up is better than dropping off. I hope all is well.

Sure is, and yes, all is well so far. Thanks.

Read in the paper that troops will start pulling out of Iraq soon, is it true?

Glad that your wife can come home. Hope she is able to get some rest today and feel better. It is always good to go home!

My thoughts are with your wife, and with you for being such a good hubby and taking care of her!

From Eric Day on Wed, Apr 08, 2009 at 16:02:15 from 189.192.103.175

She is glad to be home with our girls again. We all missed each other.

What can I say? I am great hubby, no? ;)

I feel like a ton of brick has been taken of my back...

So glad to hear that!

So now that all is better I can ask you, do you still really like your Garmin 405? I'm thinking of investing in one and was reading the discussion board... not sure which model to get either, which one do you have?

Thanks!

Lucia, yes I did buy the 405.

I think its fantastic. I own a Polar RS800 & the Garmin 405. Go for the 405. The bezel does take a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, its fine. I don't move, push, or change things once I start running so its no problem.

Maybe it would be wise to play with it a little bit before buying(do you know anybody that owns one?). I like a lot the part where you can set it up to give you automatic laps (km, miles or whatever distance you prefer), the gps mode is fantastic (no more foot-pod Polar). The battery does discharge rather quickly (3-4 uses per charge), but that is normally no problem (unless you forget to charge it).

Go for it!
