What a great race!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

Good job! Those splits look pretty good with the hills

From Snoqualmie on Sun, Jan 31, 2010 at 17:22:21 from 24.18.192.33

Great job! I can definitely relate to the oxygen debt. That's my nemesis too. Congratulations!

(By the way, does this race really have a connection to the running Raramuri Indians?)

Looking good Eric! Your splits are fairly consistent, you can tell you worked hard and stayed strong, even after your rough kilometer 7 you got past it and pushed even harder. You were really racing! Great job!

Nice job Eric! Those are some good looking splits. I always seem to have an issue with the 3rd quarter of races and really need to stay focused. You look like you did a real good job with it. Way to finish up strong.

solid running, Eric. congrats on pushing through to a strong finish.

From Burt on Mon, Feb 01, 2010 at 17:28:33 from 206.19.214.144

Great job Eric! Nice to know you don't consider yourself a 'recreational runner.'

From Kelli on Mon, Feb 01, 2010 at 22:28:50 from 71.219.89.82

Nicely done! Bummer that the race was cut short so you could not use it as a comparison or PR or whatever...but great job on pushing through even when you were breathing hard. I must be doing it wrong, I am always breathing hard. People can hear me coming for miles.

Sorry for taking so long to answer your nice comments.

Bonnie, thank you.

Chris, not to shabby, uh?

Snoqualmie, thanks, not really. It is put together by a running group called 'raramuri' but have nothing to do with the northern raramuri indians.

April, it felt like it, but I just get tired from hearing my breath.

Paul, thanks, but my mind keep playing tricks on me...

John, thanks too. It was hard, maybe I should just focus on long distance running...

Burt, hey, I was one of those 'recreational runners' ... just kidding...it was fun.

Kelli, thank you queen Kelli !

From Kelli on Tue, Feb 02, 2010 at 13:20:36 from 71.219.89.82

Ooooo, I am a queen!

Congratulations on an 8 K PR en-route, and probably 5 K as well. Shows you are still on the right track. As I said earlier, breathing will take a few years to normalize. Do not worry about it too much, it will come.

From Eric Day on Tue, Feb 02, 2010 at 18:59:19 from 200.77.36.244

Sasha, thanks. For a moment, before the race, I thought that breathing would not be a major issue, but as you have mentioned to me several times, hopefully it will only get better...

From montelepsy on Wed, Feb 03, 2010 at 01:08:22 from 155.85.58.253

You were flying Eric!

From Teena Marie on Wed, Feb 03, 2010 at 14:13:41 from 155.99.200.234

Killer pace!!! You rocked that.

Can't wait to see the final results/placement! :)
